Oxalis has triangular black and purple leaves. Caladiums have red centers and green edges. The Speckled Croton is merely outlined as is the red Iresine. The motivation here is the Oxalis which I sketched on location. I intend to make a bookmark with a series of completely colored Oxalis in metallic foils. This is what I think about when falling to sleep; how to capture and represent these intriguing plants in a an artistic form to share with you. I imagined sketching with colored ballpoint pen and adding color with markers.  The result presents the idea I hoped for.
